In this war, Uganda dispatches its troops and expels all the fishermen of Kenya. But now Kenya and Uganda both are not disturbing fishermen of this island in Kenya.

Then in 2016, an agreement was signed from both countries for this pace. According to this agreement fisherman of both countries can live here. Now the fisherman who lived here pays tax to both governments Kenya and Uganda both.
